Saturday class 50/50 STEP/MUSCLE. 30 minutes of high intensity, low impact STEP workout from 8:00-8:30a, followed by 30 minutes of concentrated muscle conditioning and stretching from 8:30-9:00a. Come for one hour or 1/2 hour.
TURBO BLAST - MUSCLE CONDITIONING. The staple of any exercise program, come and firm and tone upper and lower muscle groups. We incorporate weights and resistance bands in an intensive workout where individuals can ramp it up or decrease intensity to meet the individual’s fitness level and goals. Proven to increase your bone density. STEP. The demand for a high intensity, low impact workout has remained high since Step was first introduced. Straightforward, easy to follow steps are combined with balanced arm movements and timed to rhythmic music. HI/LOW AEROBICS. Every 10 weeks we spice up your workout with different genres of music to keep you on your toes. In this session we move around to the best boogie tunes from bebop to hip hop. The class 20/20/20 offered in the evening program adds the Zumbaerobics favorites for added flare! Worried about your knees? We’ll show you the low impact version that will still get your heart rate up.
PILATES. Stretch and strengthen muscles with emphasis on spinal stabilization and flexibility, and abdominal strengthening. Added benefits when combined with Muscle Conditioning. YOGA. A fitness oriented style drawing on traditional Hatha Yoga postures which unveil the ancient secret to health and vitality that encourages balance, flexibility and strength. Appropriate for all levels of fitness.
